16th Bermondsey Scout Group

If the video library is up to date you should be able to find a film of our latest canoe day adventure on the Thames. We took the maximum number of scouts, 12, which fills all the seats in our canoes. We went down river to a favourite spot where we lit a fire, cooked sausages & popcorn and played-about in the sunshine. It was a long day, people were tired and a wind sprung-up against us on the way back up river to our base at Longridge. It was useful having the engine on the big canoe as we were able to help people who were being blown about.
