After reading our request on the internet for a chance to take part in a competition outside of our district, we were invited to enter the Esher Scout District hike competition in the Surrey Hills near Guildford. As it was Jack and Rebekah’s last days in the troop before they leave us at 15 they were challenged to compete against each other with a team. In the over-all score we came 6th and 7th out of 22 teams, which was quite brilliant. What was even better was the compliments out scouts recieved from many of the host leaders who said how happy and respectful our scouts were.
Oh, and Rebekah beat her twin brother!
