Our Young Leaders, our teenagers who usually spend their evenings helping run our Beaver, Cub and Scout meetings, came together under the leadership of Louise to accept the challenge of cooking and serving our AGM dinner. ( Louise, Sam, Ricky, Keku, Kirsten, Lydia and Tom.And they did it with style! They set-up a Hotmail booking line, with menu choices, donned posh kit and served-up a range of great food to their Worlds Away Cafe. 60 people seated in the packed hall. Timing was the only thing missing from the menu, but Eddie was able to get the bussiness done before we ate and Rod produced his autioneers’s gavel to raise £160 for the Scout Uganda project.
Tom was presented with his Jack Petchy Award, and he and Jack & Rebekah Cohrang were presented with their Chief Scouts Gold Award by DC Philip Andrews
